Designed by renowned architect Rem Koolhaas, Lille Grand Palais Exhibition Centre offers facilities of the highest standards and is located in the heart of Europe, in the town centre, close to the Eurostar/TGV stations and to the Lille international airport. 

SIFER is held at the Lille Grand Palais Exhibition Centre. The proximity to train stations and the airport makes the venue easily accessible. Not sure how to get to the exhibition grounds? We have all the information you need whether you arrive by train, car, plane or local transport.

Public Transport

Lille Grand Palais is easily accessible by public transport, with Metro Line 2 providing the most convenient connection - simply take line M2 to either Lille Grand Palais or Mairie de Lille.

Several bus routes also stop nearby, including Line 18 (Grand Palais stop) and the Citadine line (Lille Grand Palais stop), offering direct access from different areas of the city.

For those approaching from central Lille, well‑marked pedestrian paths guide you to the venue via Boulevard Emile Dubuisson

Car

Six major motorway networks pass through Lille: 

  • A1 from Paris (220 km) 
  • A25 from Dunkerque (80 km) 
  • A27/E42 from Brussels (110 km) 
  • A22 /E17 from Ghent (75 km), Antwerp (125 km) and Amsterdam (290 km) 
  • A23 from Valenciennes (53 km): exit No2 in Lille, lane 2A signposted Lille Grand Palais. 
  • A26 from Calais (110 km): exit No1 in Lille (on the left handside), lane 2A signposted Lille Grand Palais.

Train

Europe’s most advanced rail network passes through Lille. High-Speed Train Station Lille Europe and Lille Flandres Station are located in the town centre, and 5 minutes away from Lille Grand Palais.

  • Lille Flandres Station: TER regional trains and direct TGV service to Paris.
  • Lille Europe Station: Eurostar service to London and Brussels, direct TGV service to Roissy Airport, Paris and all major French cities.  
     

Air

Lille’s International Airport is 10 km away from the city centre, with direct connections to 15 European capitals. It serves national and international destinations.

A shuttle service from the airport (Gate A) to the city centre (bus stop sign "Liaison aéroport" outside the Euralille shopping centre) is available and takes 20 minutes. 

Lille is also less than one hour away from Paris Charles de Gaulle international airport (51 min).
